SYSTEM TAKEOVERS
Switch providers—not necessarily your equipment.
If your property already has an alarm system, cameras, access control or related low-voltage equipment, we start by evaluating what is installed before recommending replacement. The goal is a better local service relationship without wasting equipment that still makes sense to use.
Evaluate Existing Equipment
We review the installed panel, devices, communications and infrastructure to determine what may be practical to retain.
Upgrade Only Where Needed
Modernize communications, controls or equipment where appropriate instead of treating every provider change like a complete rebuild.
Local Ongoing Support
Move the relationship to a local, owner-led company that can monitor, service and support compatible systems after the transition.
ALREADY HAVE EQUIPMENT?
Send us what you have. We will help determine the next step.
If possible, include the current provider, panel or system brand, what you pay for monitoring and a few photos of the equipment. That gives us a useful starting point before a site visit.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Security system takeover FAQs
Can you take over an alarm system installed by another company?
Often, yes. We start by evaluating the existing panel, devices and communications to determine what may be compatible and practical to keep.
Do I have to replace all of my existing equipment?
Not automatically. A takeover evaluation is intended to identify usable infrastructure and recommend replacement only where compatibility, condition or the project requirements call for it.
Can you take over both residential and commercial systems?
We evaluate existing systems for homes, businesses and other properties throughout our service area.
Can monitoring be changed when the existing equipment is reused?
Depending on the installed system and communications, monitoring options may be available without replacing every device. We evaluate the system before recommending a path forward.
