COMMON QUESTIONS
Service & repair FAQs
Do you service systems installed by another company?
We can evaluate many existing low-voltage systems even when Nick’s did not perform the original installation. Serviceability depends on the equipment, condition and available system access.
What types of systems do you troubleshoot?
Service can include security, fire alarm, video surveillance, access control, intercom and related low-voltage infrastructure.
Will you repair a system instead of automatically replacing it?
We start by diagnosing the problem and evaluating the existing equipment. Recommendations are based on condition, compatibility and whether repair or replacement makes practical sense.
Can you upgrade a system while repairing it?
Yes, when an upgrade is useful. We can discuss modernization or expansion after the existing system and immediate problem have been evaluated.
